Solderol is a prescription drug, so its dosage should be decided by a doctor. If your doctor has not provided you with information on the dosage of the preparation in your case, you should contact him or her to determine the appropriate dosage.

The dosage of the drug varies depending on the degree of necessary vitamin D supplementation and the indication.

To prevent vitamin D deficiency in adults and the elderly, 800 to 1600 IU per day, or the equivalent weekly or monthly dose, is usually used. For adults and elderly people with osteoporosis, a maximum of 2000 IU per day is administered, or the equivalent weekly or monthly dose.

For the treatment of vitamin D deficiency in adults and the elderly, the starting dose is 800 to 4000 IU per day, or the equivalent of a weekly or monthly dose.

In children and adolescents over 12 years of age, 800 IU per day is usually used, depending on the severity of the disease and the patient's response to treatment.

The drug can be given with or without food.

The final decision on the dosage of the drug is made by the doctor.
