The concomitant use of two intranasal glucocorticoids (mometasone and fluticasone) is not usually recommended due to the risk of increased side effects and lack of additional therapeutic benefit. However, Azelin also contains azelastine, an antihistamine that works synergistically with glucocorticoids.
