Which substitutes for polpix sr 2mg have the same size as polpix sr 2mg or ropodrin sr 2mg. I'm asking because, for example, aropilo sr 2mg is large and doesn't work in my case. I dispensed the entire tablet with my stool. The same happens with rolprin. I didn't have any other substitutes.

Polpix SR 2 mg (ropinirole) tablets are pink, round, biconvex and measure approximately 12.6 mm by 6.6 mm. Among the substitutes available on the market, such as Ropodrin SR, Aparxon PR, Nironovo or Requip-Modutab, the size of the tablets may vary. And some may be larger and cause swallowing problems or incomplete absorption, as your experience confirms.
Excretion of an Aropilo SR or Rolpryna SR tablet almost unchanged in the stool may look alarming, but it does not always mean that the medicine has not worked. SR (Sustained Release) tablets have a special shell that slowly releases the drug in the digestive tract. Often the coating of the tablet (the so-called "ghost tablet") is visible in the stool, but the drug itself has already been absorbed into the body earlier. This phenomenon is known and usually does not indicate that the treatment is ineffective.
If the pills do not work properly, it is worth asking your doctor to substitute pills similar in size to Polpix SR, which may be smaller and better tolerated. If you have trouble swallowing extended-release tablets, you may also consult your doctor about changing the form of the medication or adjusting your therapy to ensure the effectiveness of your treatment.
