Mounjaro (tirzepatide) begins to work as early as a few days after starting therapy, and a reduction in appetite usually occurs within 8 to 72 hours after the dose. However, it may take about 4 weeks of use to fully stabilise the drug concentration and reduce appetite effect, and in some patients even longer.

Dosing twice a week is not standard – usually Mounjaro is administered once a week, so it is worth consulting the dosage schedule with your doctor. In addition, the effectiveness of the drug depends on individual factors such as diet, physical activity, and overall health. If the appetite is still large after a few weeks, you should consult your doctor, who can adjust the dosage or consider other therapeutic options.
