If the pain has returned, you can continue treatment with 1-2 tablets a day until the discomfort subsides, but do not exceed the maximum dose or use the drug without consulting your doctor.
Colchicum Dispert is used to treat acute gout attacks, usually at an initial dose of 1 mg (2 tablets of 0.5 mg) followed by 0.5-1 mg after an hour, with a maximum daily dose of 1.5-2 mg (3-4 tablets).
It is important not to increase the dose yourself or repeat treatment repeatedly without medical supervision, especially before you know the results of uric acid tests that will help you plan your treatment. In the case of recurrent gout attacks, a doctor should be consulted to determine further management and possible change of treatment.
