Abdominal pain can be one of the side effects of Ozempik (semaglutide), especially at the beginning of treatment, however, the appearance of severe pain after a few weeks of use, even at the lowest dose, requires caution.
I encourage you to consult your doctor, as such pain may indicate complications or other problems that require medical evaluation. Do not stop treatment on your own without consulting your doctor. In the meantime, it is worth observing whether the ailments worsen or other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or fever appear.
Please remember that side effects of medications should be reported to your doctor or individually. By reporting side effects, you help other patients, including your relatives, who may also need the same drug one day.
