After a miscarriage, especially in the case of an autoimmune disease such as lupus erythematosus, it is recommended to perform comprehensive diagnostic tests to help determine the cause of the miscarriage and plan further treatment. Follow:

1) Immunological tests, including the determination of antinuclear antibodies (ANA), antiphospholipid antibodies and other autoantibodies that may affect the maintenance of pregnancy.

2) Genetic testing of the fetus and parents to rule out chromosomal aberrations, which are a common cause of miscarriages.

3) Hormonal tests, especially progesterone levels, thyroid hormones (TSH, fT3, fT4) and sex hormones, which are crucial for maintaining pregnancy.

4) Blood clotting tests, as lupus and the use of drugs such as acard can affect the coagulation system and increase the risk of thrombosis leading to miscarriages.

5) Anatomical assessment of the reproductive organ (ultrasound, hysteroscopy) to exclude structural defects of the uterus that may hinder carrying the pregnancy to term.

It is important to carry out these tests under the supervision of a rheumatologist and gynaecologist, who will take into account the specifics of lupus and your individual needs. The use of Duphaston and Acard should be consulted and adjusted to the test results and health condition to increase the chance of a normal course of the next pregnancy.
