If you have a fever of 38°C, you can use over-the-counter antipyretics such as paracetamol or ibuprofen, which are safe and effective in lowering your temperature and relieving the symptoms of fever, using Epclusa (which contains sofosbuvir and velpatasvir). Aspirin should be avoided without talking to your doctor, especially if you have liver disease or other medical conditions.
It is also important to take your medication as prescribed and not to exceed the dose. If the fever persists for more than a few days, gets worse or other worrying symptoms appear, contact your doctor treating Epclusa immediately, as this may require further evaluation and management.
