I am overweight, have gastritis and do not have diabetes - can Monjaro help me? Previously, I injected Xasenda with no result.

Mounjaro is also used (in addition to the treatment of type 2 diabetes) in patients requiring weight control with a BMI above 27 kg/m2 as a supplement to dietary recommendations and physical exercise, and in the presence of comorbidities (e.g. hypertension). Gastrointestinal diseases such as gastritis may be a contraindication to starting treatment due to the direct impact of the drug on the rate of gastric emptying and possible side effects that may occur then. Consultation with a doctor is recommended to assess the possibility of implementing the treatment.
