If the colonoscopy is scheduled for the afternoon, then no more meals should be eaten on the day of the examination. Drinking Fortrans (and other liquids) should be finished about 4 hours before the test.
On the day before the test, only easily digestible and preferably liquid products should be taken. On this day, the intake of Fortrans also begins.
