The occurrence of adverse reactions may be an indication to discontinue the drug or reduce the dosage, but this decision should be made by the patient's treating physician. In the event of significant deterioration, consultation with a paediatrician/internist may be considered. During the tests, no clear symptoms of drug discontinuation were found, which would force a gradual reduction of the dose.

Auroxetine may cause attacks of aggression, including serious cases (physical assault, threats, etc.). The problem of emotional instability after the use of Auroxetin is more common in children than in adult patients.
