What should I do if I have exceeded my dose of Wegovy?

Hello. I punctured Wegovy 1.7 and exceeded the dose. Now I have nausea, vomiting, my head hurts, I can't eat anything, everything comes out. What should I do at home? Or wait a week for the action to pass?

If the pen was set to a dose of 1.7 and this dose was to be taken, there could not have been an overdose of the drug. Do not set the dose based on the number of clicks, as there is no guarantee that you will receive the right amount of medicine (this is also stated in the package leaflet). The most common side effects are gastrointestinal complaints (abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, constipation), as well as fatigue and headache. During the treatment, it is worth taking care of an easily digestible diet and eating meals that will not be digested in the stomach for a long time (fatty foods, fried foods, hearty meals, sweets should be avoided). Wegovy delays gastric emptying, so failure to follow these tips can lead to increased side effects. In the described situation, you should also take care of the right amount of fluids and electrolytes, and in the event of a significant deterioration in your well-being - contact a doctor.
