Rybelsus can only be used for diverticula of the intestine after consultation with and under the supervision of a doctor to monitor possible side effects and prevent complications.

Rybelsus (semaglutide) may cause gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating or constipation. If you have diverticula of the intestine, which are places of weakened intestinal wall, you should be careful, as these symptoms can exacerbate the discomfort or increase the risk of complications.

There is no absolute contraindication to the use of Rybelsus for diverticula, but it is important that treatment is carried out under the close supervision of a physician who will assess the individual risks and benefits of therapy. If gastrointestinal discomfort intensifies or new symptoms appear, you should consult a doctor immediately.
