I have taken 1 dose of the vaccine Havrix 9 years ago and I want to refill the second dose. Is it enough to take one vaccine or do I have to take two 6-12 months apart?

I took one dose of Havrix in 2016. I would like to complete the second dose. Do I need to take two doses 6-12 months apart now, or can I only take one?

According to the manufacturer's information, in order to ensure long-term protection, the booster dose should be administered 6-12 months after the primary vaccination, but it can also be administered up to 5 years after the primary vaccination. As much more time has passed, you may need to administer 2 vaccines at the right interval if you want long-term protection.  Please consult your qualifying physician.
