After using Erlis for benign prostatic hyperplasia by a patient aged 40 years, severe erection problems occur for a period of 3 weeks. Before using the drug, there were no problems, and everything was fine during use.
Is it possible that after stopping the drug, such disorders appear for some time?

Erlis (tadalafil) is used to treat both erectile dysfunction and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. When using the drug, it usually improves the ability to achieve and maintain an erection, and erection problems are not a typical side effect of this drug. Rarely, side effects such as priapism (prolonged, painful erection) may occur, but it is not a disorder where erection deteriorates after withdrawal.
Once you stop using tadalafil, it quickly eliminates itself from your body, so long-term erectile dysfunction after withdrawal is not typical and may indicate other causes that you may want to discuss with your doctor. It is also worth remembering that psychological, hormonal or other medical conditions can affect erectile function regardless of the drug.
