Does dexamethasone affect the results of morphology and hormone tests?

Hello. I'm a week after a lumbar spine blockade with dexamethasone. I have a referral for a blood test: complete blood count and hormones. Should we wait with performing these tests so that they do not come out falsified, and if so, for how long? Does performing such a blockade affect the results of blood tests at all?

Dexamethasone can affect blood test results and cause falsification of morphology results, but after about 1-2 weeks the picture returns to normal.

Therefore, there are no contraindications to performing tests 1-2 weeks after taking the blockade.

The same applies to the results of hormonal tests.
