Unfortunately, the manufacturer of Omnitrope does not inform how to proceed in a situation where the drug is out of the fridge for several hours. According to the manufacturer's instructions, this medicine should be stored and transported refrigerated (2°C - 8°C) in the original packaging in order to protect from light. The manufacturer also informs that Omnitrope should not be used if it has been frozen or exposed to high temperatures. It should also not be used if the solution is cloudy.

I don't know what the temperature was in the house, in the backpack, or if the sun was shining on it. Storage at a higher temperature may result in partial or complete inactivation of growth hormone, so there may be less or no effect on the treatment.
