Teraligen has a sleep-inducing effect, m.in.
Zoloft is indicated for the treatment of:
• Major depressive episodes. Preventing the recurrence of major depressive episodes.
• Panic disorder accompanied (or not) by agoraphobia.
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in adult patients and children and adolescents aged 6-17 years.
• Social anxiety disorder.
• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Analyzing the mechanism of action of the drug and the indications for use, taking Zoloft to treat panic attacks is justified. Improvement should be expected 2-4 weeks after starting treatment (sometimes longer). During the first days, there may be a temporary deterioration in mood. Some patients observe calming down during treatment and a reduction in the intensity of negative emotions, which seems to be an advantage of using sertraline, but this does not mean that all emotions are "turned off" in the patient taking the drug.
