Can Mounjaro cause abdominal pain with bleeding?

I did the first month of munjaro from 2.5. After the fourth dose exactly 5 days later I had abdominal pain with bleeding. I suspended for some time, 15 days to be exact and on the advice of the doctor I resumed with a dose of 5mg. After the second dose and exactly on the 5th day of the same thing: excruciating abdominal pain, diarrhea and mucus in the stool. Can these episodes be attributed to the drug? Thanks in advance

Mounjaro very often causes stomach and gastrointestinal discomfort. The described situation is an indication to stop using the drug. Probably, other drugs from this group will also cause stomach problems. I encourage you to consult your doctor.

Information contained in the summary of product characteristics:

"Tirzepatide has been associated with gastrointestinal adverse reactions, including nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea (see section 4.8). These side effects can lead to dehydration, which can cause deterioration in kidney function, including acute renal failure."
