Can I get vaccinated against RSV at a pharmacy?

The Arexvy or Abrysvo vaccine can be obtained from selected pharmacies. The service is paid, according to the price list of a given facility. However, to buy the vaccine at a discount or get it for free, you need a prescription from a doctor.

Abrysvo is intended for all people over 18 years of age and pregnant women between 24 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. In order to achieve immunity, 1 dose of the vaccine is sufficient.
Abrysvo is on the list of reimbursed drugs. It is free of charge for pregnant women and seniors over 65 years of age. Reimbursed for people over 60 years of age (price PLN 408.86), and for adults under 60 years of age - fully paid (price PLN 817.72).

The second available vaccine is Arexvy. It is indicated for adults aged 50 to 59 years with an increased risk of developing the disease caused by RSV and adults aged 60 and older. It is not a preparation for pregnant women and people under 50 years of age. The Arexvy vaccine is non-refundable. Depending on the pharmacy, it costs from PLN 880 to PLN 1300 per dose. In order to achieve immunity, it is enough to take 1 dose of the vaccine.
