Can Mounjaro cause fever?

Yes, Mounjaro can cause symptoms of fever, although this is not the most common side effect.

Fever may appear in the context of cholecystitis, which is one of the possible complications of Mounjaro use, especially with rapid weight loss. In this case, in addition to fever, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting may occur, which requires medical consultation.

In addition, Mounjaro is more likely to cause gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, as well as injection site reactions and fatigue. If you have a fever, especially with other worrying symptoms, you should contact your doctor for an assessment of your health and further treatment.
