Hascovir is used to treat recurrent cold sores caused by the Herpes simplex virus.
Hascovir 200 mg dosage:
The medicinal product should be administered orally at a dose of 200 mg five times a day, every 4 hours (with a night interval), for 5 days.
In the case of recurrent infections, it is particularly important to start treatment in the prodromal period (prodromal symptoms) or just after the appearance of the first lesions.
Hascovir 400 mg dosage:
The medicinal product should be administered orally at a dose of 400 mg twice daily every 12 hours. The medicinal product should be used for a maximum period of 1 month without consulting a physician.
Hascovir cream should be used 5 times a day every 4 hours.
