I'm on the 20th day of taking the white active pills atywia daily and I got diarrhea yesterday late in the evening (it's 3:20 p.m.) and I still have a bowel movement quite often. In two days, when I should start taking a placebo, is it better not to take a 7-day break to prevent a slab of hormones?

In case of long-term diarrhoea while using the active contraceptive pill Atywia Daily, it is better not to take the standard 7-day placebo break to prevent a decrease in hormone levels and reduce the effectiveness of contraception. It is recommended to continue taking the active tablets without interruption and to take a break only after the diarrhoea has subsided. During this time, it is worth using an additional method of contraception, such as a condom.
