Hello, I have hypothyroidism, I have been taking Euthyrox 75mg for 3 months. I have just bought Revalid medicine (270 tab. for a 3-month treatment, because my hair started to fall out a lot. Does Euthyrox react with Revalid, weakening the effect of the former?
I will be grateful for an answer.

Revalid does not have known interactions with Euthyrox so it should not impair its effect.
Revalid is a preparation that contains vitamins, amino acids and minerals that support the condition of the hair. However, remember to take Euthyrox on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before a meal and other preparations, to ensure its full absorption.
Hair loss with Euthyrox most often indicates a period of adaptation (in the early period of therapy) or incomplete hormonal balance. Thyroid hormone deficiency disrupts the hair growth cycle and leads to excessive hair loss. Often, hair loss is a symptom of Hashimoto's disease or other thyroid disorders that cause slow metabolism and insufficient nutrition of the hair, resulting in thinning and brittleness. In some cases, despite treatment with levothyroxine (Euthyrox), hair loss may persist, which requires consultation with an endocrinologist for possible correction of therapy. If hair loss persists, it is worth consulting a doctor.
