When the dose of Ezequa (duloxetine) is increased to 60 mg, anxiety and insomnia may worsen, especially in the first few days of taking the higher dose. These are typical, temporary side effects that often disappear after about 1-3 weeks of the body adapting to the new dose.
Ezequa (duloxetine) is a broad-profile antidepressant also used for generalised anxiety disorder, and increasing the dose is standard practice when the initial dose of 30 mg does not bring sufficient improvement.
However, if your symptoms worsen significantly or persist for longer, it may be worth consulting with your doctor, as you may need to adjust your treatment or consider other treatment options. Concomitant use of other medications, such as Songar, should also be monitored for interactions and adverse reactions.
