Both Semavik (semaglutide) and Munjaro (tirzepatide) can cause similar side effects such as constipation, hives (allergic reactions), weakness, and gastrointestinal discomfort.
If you have developed acute urticaria after Semavik, there is a risk that Munjaro may also cause an allergic reaction, although this is not certain – reactions may be different in the same person to drugs from this group. Constipation is a common side effect of both medications, so it is worth taking care of a proper diet, hydration and physical activity. If you develop allergy symptoms (rash, swelling, shortness of breath) or severe constipation, contact your doctor immediately.
