Hello, I've had a gynecological surgery. I was advised to give anticoagulant injections at home.
The nurse informed me how to perform them technically and that it would be good to do the injection not just at the navel. I just read that this distance is at least 5 cm from the navel. I gave injections about 3.5-4.5 cm from the navel. Could this have disturbed the absorption of the drug or harmed me in any way? A fold of skin was caught, no hematomas, no bruises.

A distance of 3.5-4.5 cm from the navel is sufficient. The drug was administered correctly and was properly absorbed.
