Telmix (telmisartan) rarely causes neck pain or discomfort in the jugular veins, but it can lower blood pressure, which sometimes causes symptoms of dizziness, weakness or a feeling of muscle tension.
If neck pain or a feeling in the jugular veins appeared after starting therapy, it is worth consulting a doctor – it may be a symptom not directly related to the drug or indicating other conditions. If you experience swelling, difficulty breathing, severe pain or other worrying symptoms, contact your doctor immediately, as Telmix may cause rare but serious allergic reactions such as angioedema. Do not discontinue the drug without first consulting your doctor.
