Jaw tremors can be a side effect of Zoloft (sertraline), especially at a high starting dose such as 100 mg. Usually, treatment starts with a lower dose (e.g. 25–50 mg) to reduce the risk of side effects. This symptom may indicate an increase in dose too quickly or hypersensitivity to the drug.
Usually, such tremors disappear spontaneously after a few days of using the drug. However, if the tremor is bothersome, intensifies or is accompanied by other disturbing symptoms, it is worth consulting a doctor to assess further treatment. Do not stop treatment on your own without consulting your doctor.
