Will I be protected if I have taken Belara pills for 22 days?
12.99 zł

What if I was supposed to take the last pill on April 5, and I accidentally took the pill on April 6. So I took the pills for 22 days. I was supposed to start taking the pills on April 13 (which is how usual to have a 7-day break), or currently I have to take it on Monday. I want the pills to be effective.

I'm taking belara pills

"What if I was supposed to take the last pill on April 5, and I accidentally took the pill on April 6" - from this I conclude that on April 5 you did not take the pill.

However, if you have used all the pills from the blister and additionally taken one more - extra - protection, you will be protected. Taking an additional tablet on April 6 does not affect the effectiveness of the therapy.

On April 13, you can start a new blister. The 7-day break can be shortened as desired, but it should not be extended - then the protection will be provided all the time.

If more than 12 hours have passed since you usually take your tablet, you should follow this scheme:
"start taking Belara from the next pack immediately after taking the last tablet from the pack currently in use, i.e. without a tablet interval between packs. There is a likelihood that you will not experience withdrawal bleeding by the time the second pack is finished, however, there may be some minor bleeding or mid-cycle spotting on the days you take the tablets. If there is no withdrawal bleeding at the end of the second pack, a pregnancy test should be performed."

Because you did not follow the manufacturer's recommendation, the protection may be reduced.

The new packaging should be started on April 13 and for the first week of taking the pills, an additional condom should be used as a preventive measure. If intercourse took place during the 7-day break, it is worth taking a control pregnancy test from morning urine before starting a new package, i.e. on April 12. If the result is negative, you can start a new blister on April 13.
