Ryspolit is used in the treatment of schizophrenia and manic disorders occurring in the course of bipolar disorder. In addition, the preparation can be used in the short-term symptomatic treatment of aggression in children with intellectual disabilities and in patients with Alzheimer's dementia who do not respond to other drugs.
Perhaps the drug was used in your case as an "off-label" drug, i.e. outside the registered indications. In this case, your doctor should explain to you the purpose of the drug and the possible side effects. We wrote about the use of "off-label" drugs in the article:
