Among the side effects of Tizagagelan, weight gain has not been reported so far. However, if you observe such side effects, it is worth reporting them to your doctor.
Elevated liver enzymes occur uncommonly with tizanidine (the active ingredient in Tizagelan) (≥ 1/1000 to < 1/100 cases) and hepatic impairment has been reported and occurred infrequently at daily doses below 12 mg.
