The result of the attached tests indicates the presence of IgG antibodies against the herpes virus (HSV-1/2) in high concentrations (>30), which suggests a history of infection and the existence of immunity. In contrast, the level of IgM antibodies (0.5) is low, which means no active, fresh infection.
Herpes simplex virus (HSV-1/2) IgG and IgM is a determination of IgG antibodies specific for herpes simplex virus antigens, HSV of both types, useful in the serological diagnosis of herpes virus infection.
