My 4-year-old daughter has bronchitis and has been prescribed Atrovent and saline inhalations. He also serves the onion syrup made. Is it enough? Can he give her some mucosolvan wet cough syrup? My daughter has a very persistent cough, wet during the day, and at night she can also be woken up by coughing 3 times. 4 days have passed since the onset of symptoms

Atrovent contains ipratropium bromide, which dilates the bronchi, and is given in case of wheezing cough and shortness of breath. The drug does not suppress cough and does not dilute residual secretions. If the cough is wet, there are no contraindications to including the Mucosolvan or other expectorant mentioned by you.
If, despite treatment with Atrovent, the symptoms have not subsided for several days, it is worth consulting a doctor again. It may be necessary to include steroids, e.g. drugs with budesonide, which are available in pharmacies only on prescription.
