Oseltamivir is a drug that fights influenza A and B viruses, available for adults in a dose of 75 mg under the name e.g. Tamiflu, Tamivil, Ebilfumin. The medicine can only be obtained with a prescription (you must have a prescription).
Another antiviral drug is Neosine (or Groprinosin, Eloprine, etc.), which works by increasing the response of the immune system and inhibiting the multiplication of the virus (mainly the herpes virus). Neosine is available without a prescription.
Indications for use:
- As an adjunct in immunocompromised people, in the case of recurrent upper respiratory tract infections.
- In the treatment of herpes of the lips and facial skin caused by the herpes simplex virus.
