I used HPV for 16 and then Deflagyn for 3 months. Now I was for a check-up and apparently it got worse. I have to say that the Pap smear was just before the period and blood was in the smear. I once read that blood in the swab falsifies the test result, is that true? Why didn't it work? is HPV 16 too strong for deflagyn?

I also ask myself this question. My result after 3 months was much worse. From IIb I started Deflagyn. Used for 3 months and then I got such a rapid cell change to IIID2!! Why is that??? It should show at least one effect, not cause cell change too quickly.

The presence of blood in the Pap smear can affect the result, as blood can interfere with the evaluation of cells in the test. For this reason, it is recommended that the swab is taken at the appropriate time of the menstrual cycle, preferably immediately after the end of menstruation.
As for the efficacy of Deflagin, it is not always able to completely eliminate HPV infection, especially in the case of more resistant types of the virus, such as HPV 16. The effectiveness of treatment also depends on the individual reactions of the body. It is worth consulting a doctor to assess further therapeutic steps and possible additional tests.
