How Long After Removing Dust From My Eye Can My Eye Hurt?
12.99 zł

Hello, I was at the ophthalmologist today who took out the dust from under my upper eyelid and said that there was inflammation. After taking out this dust, it still feels as if there was a foreign body there, is this how it should be? Is it healing like this? Is there still something that is still not removed. I was given a prescription for eye drops. This discomfort is unbearable.

If these are prescription drops, please follow your doctor's instructions. Usually, such drugs are used for 3 to 5 days, a maximum of a week.

The feeling of a foreign body remaining in the eye may persist until the inflammation subsides. This is completely normal after this type of interference and should not be alarming.
Most likely, you have received eye drops with an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory, after their regular application, the discomfort should disappear quickly.
