Can I combine Cital (morning) and Alpragen (evening)?
20.00 zł

I've been feeling a lot of stress for several months. About 2 weeks. ago I had a panic attack and since then I have been feeling fear, anxiety, irritable and unable to sleep. For anxiety neurosis, my family doctor prescribed cital (10 mg for 1 week) and alpragen ad hoc at night. My question is can I take both medication - cital in the morning and alpragen in the evening to fall asleep?

Your doctor may recommend a combination of antidepressants and benzodiazepine anxiolytics if your condition requires such treatment. Alpragen can only be taken on an ad hoc basis, in short-term treatment (maximum 2-4 weeks) due to its addictive potential. Cital is intended for long-term use (usually min. 6 months). The full effect of the therapy is observed after about a few weeks. At the beginning of treatment, you may feel a temporary deterioration in well-being and increased drowsiness.
