The doctor recommended 2x2 g of Amotax, and the prescription is 2 g in the morning for 20 days. Is 4 g/day not too much and what dose should be used?

The doctor prescribed me 2x2 tablets of 1g of Amotax. The problem is sinusitis. 82kg of weight, isn't this dose too high? I have 2 packs of 20 tablets
In the recommendations I have 2x2 tablets and on the prescription in the morning 2 tablets for 20 days, I don't know which one to follow.

According to the recommendations, in acute sinusitis, it is recommended to take amoxicillin (the active ingredient in Amotax) for 10 days in high doses. In adults and children weighing more than 40 kg at a dose of 1500-2000 mg every 12 hours, the dosage of 2x2 tablets of Amotaks 1g corresponds to these recommendations.

If your doctor's recommendations differ from your prescription, it's best to contact them for clarification. It is possible that there was a mistake.
