Is Formetic a replacement for Glucophage?

Until now, I was taking glucophage, now the doctor has prescribed firmetic. Is it a good substitute?

Formetic is a substitute for Glucophage (each substitute is placed on the market after passing a specific registration procedure). The drugs contain the same active substance: metformin and have the same indications for use. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, you should take the same dosage as before.
