Zarówno firma Fagron, jak i Galfarm, które zajmowały się dystrybucją wodzianu chloralu, nie prowadzą już jego sprzedaży. Surowiec został wycofany z oferty już jakiś czas temu i najprawdopodobniej nie wróci do sprzedaży.
