Hello. I had genital herpes for the first time (I had contact with a sick person), what medicine is recommended for the first appearance of herpes? Unfortunately, I am not able to go to the doctor in person because I have working hours from 8 am to 6 pm. Is it more Hascovir Control Max or something else that is recommendable for the first time herpes appears on the genitals?

For the first episode of genital herpes, oral antiviral drugs such as acyclovir or valacyclovir are recommended.
Hascovir Control Max (acyclovir) can be helpful, but its effectiveness is greater when used from the first symptoms. The standard dosage of acyclovir is 400 mg twice a day for 5–10 days. If the symptoms are severe, it is worth consulting a doctor, e.g. in teleconsultation mode, to choose the best treatment.
