How to stop taking Sympramol without feeling worse?
12.99 zł

Good morning. I have been taking supramol 1 tablet 50 mg at night for half a year. The doctor said that I could stop taking it. I did it but I started to feel bad, i.e. anxiety, sweating. Should I take half a pill for a few days to stop it completely? Or is there perhaps another withdrawal pattern?

Discontinuation of anti-anxiety and mood-enhancing drugs should be done under medical supervision. Sudden discontinuation of Sympramol treatment (especially if it has been used for a long time) may cause a temporary deterioration of well-being, which usually disappears spontaneously after a few to several days. In the case of significant intensification of the symptoms, the doctor may recommend a different procedure (e.g. the use of calming drugs in the most difficult period or gradual discontinuation of the drug). Sympramol comes in the form of coated tablets, which are not intended to be divided into equal doses.
