Usually, one application is enough, which should be left on the skin for at least 8 hours. If symptoms such as itching persist after this time, this may be normal as skin reactions can occur for up to four weeks after treatment due to dead mites. Infectoscab, which contains permethrin, is a medication used to treat scabies.
If symptoms worsen or recur after 14 days of first use, repeat treatment may be considered, but it is recommended to consult a doctor before using the drug again.
