On November 20, 2024, I had foot surgery on Morton's neuroma. Now the pain in the scar area has intensified and it is quite strong, there is no inflammation.
The doctor recommended transtec patches, but I think I stuck them wrong, because I stuck them on my foot above the scar and I don't know if I should continue doing this or stick it as it is in the leaflet or on the upper part of the body?

After surgery for Morton's neuroma, pain in the scar area can be a normal symptom, especially if there is no inflammation. Transtec patches should be used in accordance with the instructions in the leaflet.
To apply Transtec patches correctly, you should choose a flat, clean and hairless area of skin on the upper body, preferably in the subclavian or upper back area. Please avoid areas with irritation or scars. After removing the patch from the sachet and removing the protective film, place it on the desired area of skin. Press the patch firmly with your hand for about 30 seconds to make sure it adheres well.
If there is no inflammation and the pain has worsened, it is recommended to consult a doctor. If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
