Can potassium be supplemented? Can it harm me? I also supplement magnesium and vitamin d3 + k2 Mk7. Recently I also included potassium 400ug, but on the internet it writes that it can also be harmful and I don't know if I should stop taking it. In general, I feel good, I am 23 years old.

Yes, potassium can be supplemented, but excess potassium can be harmful – especially in the case of kidney problems (risk of hyperkalaemia), heart problems or the use of hypertension medications.
The recommended daily dose of potassium for an adult is 3500–4700 mg. Most of the potassium is provided from the diet – it is found, m.in others, in bananas, tomatoes, potatoes, nuts, beans, as well as in meat and fish. If you feel well and have no health problems, supplementation is not contraindicated, but if you want to get more potassium, it is better to focus on your diet, because it is easier for the body to regulate the amount of potassium from food than from supplements.
