Do not give animals human medication without consulting a veterinarian. Diarrhea in a dog can have various causes (e.g. eating poison, allergy, bacterial infection), so it is worth taking your pet to the clinic. Nifuroxazide is approved for use in dogs, but other causes should be ruled out first.
