Do not breast-feed while taking Maviret. According to the drug documentation: "It is not known whether glecaprevir or pibrentasvir are excreted in human milk. Available pharmacokinetic data in animals have shown excretion of glecaprevir and pibrentasvir in milk. A risk to the breastfed baby cannot be ruled out. A decision should be made whether to discontinue breastfeeding or to discontinue Maviret taking into account the benefits of breastfeeding for the child and the benefits of treatment for the mother."
