If my partner inserts fingers into the vagina and takes the morning after pill, is there a risk of pregnancy?
12.99 zł

Good morning
According to the application, I had a fertile window on January 3-9, on January 5 my boyfriend inserted his fingers into my vagina, he assured me that there was nothing on them and he did not touch anything, but I took the pill the day after Elleone out of fear on January 7, is there any chance of pregnancy in this situation? I feel paralyzing stress and taking the pill didn't calm me down.

So there is no possibility of pregnancy in my situation?

To @Aleksandra/iza04:

In the situation described, there is no risk of pregnancy.

In order to control the panicky fear of unwanted pregnancy, it may be helpful to seek the help of, for example, a psychologist. I encourage you to make an appointment for a consultation with a specialist, e.g. in the form of a teleconsultation via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja

Of course, if you need to, you can take the test. However, in the situation described, the result obtained will be negative. We wrote about which pregnancy test to choose and when to do it in the article:

Hello, is there a need to do a blood test in such a situation, can you breathe a sigh of relief that you are safe - there is no risk?

So what does the situation look like? I have to worry if pregnancy is impossible in my situation?

If there were no live sperm on your partner's hands, you have no chance of getting pregnant.

If, despite his assurances, there is a pre-ejaculate on the hands, the chances of fertilization in this way are also minimal, in practice close to zero - there may be sperm in the preejaculate, but in a much smaller amount than in semen, they are also mostly weakened or dead.

According to clinical trial data, women who took ulipristal acetate (contained in EllaOne) within 48-120 hours of unprotected intercourse had a pregnancy rate of 2.1%.

The chances of getting pregnant in your case are practically zero. However, if you have any doubts, it is worth contacting a gynecologist.

You can also take a pregnancy test:

And what if the prejeculum was on the fingers of the partner?
