Edolox (etoricoxib) is a COX-2 inhibitor that has a lower risk of stomach irritation than traditional NSAIDs, but can still cause gastrointestinal side effects, especially in people with acid reflux. Patients with gastrointestinal diseases such as acid reflux are at increased risk of complications, including ulcers or bleeding.

It is worth consulting a doctor about stomach covering, e.g. proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), and avoid fasting use. If you experience severe abdominal pain or black stool, you should consult your doctor immediately. It is also recommended to monitor the symptoms of reflux and possibly adjust the treatment in consultation with the doctor.
